Most Americans oppose tariffs on Canadian goods, poll finds
A new Angus Reid Institute poll suggests many Americans don’t support tariffs on Canadian imports, even as the Trump administration keeps them in place on products like steel, aluminum and cars. The survey found 51 per cent of U.S. citizens say there should be no tariffs on Canadian goods, while MAGA Republicans are more likely to support a minor tariff than a major one.
